Welcome to the Textile Museum of Canada

Located in downtown Toronto, we are the only museum in Canada dedicated to exploring the human experience through textiles.

At the Textile Museum of Canada, we are challenging outdated, colonial portrayals of art—especially Indigenous art. Our current major exhibition Beyond the Vanishing Maya: Voices of a Land in Resistance represents a groundbreaking shift in museum curation, and you can be part of this powerful movement.

By donating $25, $50, or even $100, you can help support our work!
