Virtual Studio Visit with Tarralik Duffy of Ugly Fish
General $20, Members $15, Students $10
Join Alexandria Holm, Curatorial Project Coordinator of Printed Textiles from Kinngait Studios as she goes on a virtual studio tour with Tarralik Duffy of Ugly Fish. As one of the fashion designers featured in the exhibition, Tarralik will bring us into their studio and talk about the inspiration behind her work.
Alexandria Holm received her BA in Art History from McGill University and her MA in Art History from York University. As Curatorial Project Coordinator, she worked closely with Curatorial Lead Roxane Shaughnessy and was deeply involved in the research and planning of the exhibition.
Tarralik Duffy is a multidisciplinary artist and writer who lives and works between Salliq (Coral Harbour), Nunavut, and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. From jewelry and apparel to graphic works, Tarralik’s creative output shares distinctly Inuit experiences, often infused with a dose of both humour and pop culture.
You will receive an email with the Zoom meeting access link prior to the event.
