Online Textile Teach-in: Re-purposing Wool Sweaters
Wednesday April 1, 5:30 to 7:00 pm
FREE
In this online Sustainable Textile Teach-In, we will explore ways to upcycle wool sweaters that have seen better days. Use simple hand–sewing techniques to turn every part of your sweater into new and usable objects. Learn about the felting process and natural wool fibres. All levels of experience are welcome.
Please prepare the following:
- A wool sweater that you are willing to cut up and turn into something else.
- Scissors (ideally fabric scissors, but any kind will do)
- A needle and thread
- While you do not need a zoom account to participate, consider downloading the app on your device: zoom.us

We are excited to be co-hosting this workshop with Works-In-Progress, an artist collective working with upcycled textiles. works-in-progress-collective.weebly.com
