Textile Solar Dyeing Workshop (Beginner)
Saturday, August 22 | 1-4 PM
$40 | General
$30 | Textile Museum Members
Join us for an afternoon of exploring the magic of natural solar dyeing. In this beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop, participants will be introduced to a natural dyeing process where the sun turns natural fibers into vibrant colour. Using a few natural dye colours and resist techniques, participants will take away the dying process and samples to continue the process all summer long.
No previous experience is required. Please bring in a glass mason jar to store your dyed fabrics; all other materials are provided.
For any questions or accessibility accommodations, please contact Isabelle Sain (isain@textilemuseum.ca).
