Ten: A Decade at the Museum for Textiles 1975-1985 was an exhibition about the Museum’s first ten years. The founders Max Allen and Simon Waegemaekers selected some of their favourite textiles that had interesting collection or donation stories, or were technical masterpieces. Their intention was to show something of the collection’s range, in terms of geography or technique. The exhibition was mounted in two installments and the catalogue lists all the exhibitions the Museum has put together over that period.
