Do you have a few winter garments with a hole (or two)? Before it gets too cold, Allie Davis will show you reliable mending techniques for knitted garments: woven darning, duplicate stitch, and needle felting. After a short presentation, you can work alongside Allie and ask questions about your mending project!

Topics Covered:

  • Duplicate stitch
  • Woven darning
  • Embroidery & felting (as mending)

You will need:

  • Knitted garment in need of mending
  • Darning mushroom
  • Darning needle or tapestry needle
  • Scissors / snips
  • Yarn (similar weight to the garment, wool is best!)
  • Wool roving (optional)
  • Felting needles (optional)
  • Darning loom (optional)

All skill levels and ages are welcome – No prior experience necessary!

You will receive the Zoom meeting access info in a confirmation email upon registration for this program.
