Cancelled: March Break Weaving Workshop

To help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the Textile Museum of Canada is temporarily closed to the public, effective 5pm Friday March 13 until further notice. Currently, all scheduled events and programs are postponed.

This workshop is a unique opportunity for children and their caregivers to learn weaving together. Each child will have their own loom to use each day of the workshop – one day will be spent working on the Museum’s floor and table looms, and one day will be spent working on tapestry looms. Participants will take home two woven samples and learn to create a variety of woven patterns.

For ages 8 to 14. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.

$150 for each child and their caregiver. Advance registration is required, class size is limited. To register, contact events@textilemuseum.ca.
