Designer Fabric Sale
March 27–28, 2026
12–5 PM
Pay-What-You-Wish Entry
The wait is over! Our Fabric Sale is back and it’s unlike any other we’ve had before. Taking over the Museum’s Mezzanine, we’re honoured to feature a special collection of textiles generously donated by Joyce Gunhouse and Judy Cornish of the iconic Canadian fashion label, Comrags. You are sure to find a unique fabric to start next your next project!
For 42 years, Comrags has been a mainstay of Canadian fashion. In August 2025, they announced they would be winding down operations, and in a beautiful gesture, Joyce and Judy chose to donate their overstock of textiles to support the Textile Museum.
This is your chance to own a piece of Canadian fashion history. Additional textiles and materials will be for sale on the second floor of the Museum.
The Museum is committed to keeping our reuse materials affordable for makers and artists of all kinds. Every yard of fabric you purchase does more than spark your next project; it reduces textile waste, keeping our planet green and healthy. Funds from our fabric sales also support our workshops, exhibitions, and outreach programs.
Come hunt for that impossible-to-find print and leave knowing you’ve made a difference.
