Join us for a paper making workshop with Isabelle Sain and learn how to transform scrap textiles into beautifully textured handmade paper! This Earth month, discover the unique process of recycling textiles into beautifully textured handmade paper made of old denim.
In this hands-on workshop, members will explore the making of paper through experimenting with a variety of materials while learning each step of the papermaking process: preparing and blending textile pulp, forming and pressing sheets, and embossing distinctive textures. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a collection of handmade denim paper to take home and dry. Perfect for gifting, journaling, or crafting!
