Sustainable Textile Teach-In: Macrame Market Bags

ONLINE PROGRAM

FREE

Gear up for market season! Learn knotting techniques to create your own macramé market bag using T-shirt yarn with Education Coordinator Yahn Nemirovsky

Yahn Nemirovsky (they/them) is an artist, educator, and graduate of OCAD University’s Textiles program. In their art practice, they are interested in the intersections of textile and paper media practices, and take inspiration from the intimate object world of the perzine—the ‘personal zine.’ Near to their heart they hold hand-dyed cloth, upcycled garments, and experimental modes of working which embrace spontaneity.

All skill levels and ages are welcome. Class size is limited, registration is required.

You will receive an email with the Zoom meeting access link prior to the event.
