You eat the soft corn dough filled with savoury beans - it is very hot and spicy, and you begin to wish for something to cool off your mouth. As if in answer, rain begins to fall, first softly then growing into a real downpour. Yax calls to you over the rising wind, "We must help Janahb to cover her huipils! Come with me!"
You both run over to a nearby stall where a woman is weaving brightly woven cloth on a frame tied to a post. She stops weaving and you help her cover her cloths with big leaves.
The sky has darkened, and the rain is driving down. As you put a leaf cover on a pile of textiles, the thread around your finger falls to the ground.
