You try to catch the ball but it is coming too fast. The ball goes past your hands and lands on your head. Fireworks burst before your eyes as you fall, letting go of the thread from the tamale holder cloth. The whole scene fades. When you regain your senses, you find yourself back behind the cabinet at the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art.
