There are people milling around you on a kind of plaza - this must be a big day out for them. Most of them seem to be dressed in loose fitting clothes, perfect for this hot climate: the men have cloth wrapped around their waists while the women have more on, skirts and some sort of blouse.
The sun is still rising in the east, so it must still be morning here you figure. The market is already bustling...imagine how crowded it will get later on!
