Join us for a virtual tour of Printed Textiles from Kinngait StudiosUsing footage filmed during the opening celebrations of the exhibition and installation photographs, this video provides viewers access to the exhibition while we are closedWe suggest exploring the below digital interactive app and the short film Animation from Cape Dorset from the National Film Board to enhance the experience.

The Textile Museum of Canada has developed a digital interactive app to deepen the content of the exhibition Printed Textiles from Kinngait Studios. This app was available on tablets in the Museum gallery and can now be accessed through this link https://tmc-exhibition-pwa.netlify.app/

The app allows visitors to hear directly from the Inuit community through audio or video interviews with contemporary artists from Kinngait Studios and Inuk fashion designers Tarralik Duffy, Martha Kyak, and Nooks Lindell. The app also features artwork by West Baffin Eskimo Cooperative artists and short films by Inuit filmmakers.
